Who doesn't love 'Frogger?' It draws its power from our shared memories of powerlessness. Wherever we are now, at one time or another we have all felt the poor frog's anxiety in the face of the world's intransigence, its blind and callous disregard for our happiness or well-being. D.B.Weiss
For Buddy and Sandy Henderson of Marietta, Georgia life is good. They have worked hard and played by the rules providing a safe and comfortable life for their family. But a historic snow storm, a convergence of events and poor decisions send the vulnerable family spinning into traffic.
As their old life craters, new opportunities light-up within the burgeoning legalized marijuana industry. A mysterious inheritance in Denver opens the door to the Pleiades, an elegantly restored Victorian mansion. The Bud and Breakfast Inn is the perfect stage for characters to play their parts in life's randomness. The Southern family struggles to gain control as current realities disrupt at every turn.

You don't read this book, you tumble through it ... caroming from witty repartee to humorous prose to outright hysterical insanity. I found myself laughing out loud at so many points throughout this book. It goes off on so many tangents you never quite know what the next plot twist will be. It;s totally entertaining, holding you in its grasp and it doesn't let go. It;s clever and fast paced, but don't read it too fast. You might miss wit & nuance. All this is enabled by unique, yet credible, character, with entertaining dialogue an vivid descriptions of the settings that paint the reader's imagination. Example: "Sandy opens the door to find her mother (appearing unexpected from out of state) bracing on a cane. Standing about five feet two, the flowing curls of her Henna dyed red hair reach her shoulders. She's dressed in a jet-black Calvin Klein Blazer with layered top, a satin blouse and skin tight leg pants. Sandy's eyes are drawn to her pink fashion sneakers as her mother waves off a cab."
"She pushes into the house ...'I need a beer' ... Sandy pops open a Coors light. 'Here Mother'. After taking a swallow, she glares. 'This tastes like @#$. Is this the same beer from last summer"' ...'Just where is Buddy?" ... she shout, 'Buddy! Come out and go get me some fresh beer. This stuff is awful .. And pick up a carton of Marlboro Reds while you're at it."
From redneck trailer parkers in Atlanta, to conflicts between inmates in a small town jail in Alabama, to the droll banter among guests at the Marijuana friendly B&B (Bud & Breakfast) in Denver, this novel smashes all stereotypes, turns humor writing on its head and keeps you turning the pages long after the lights should be off.Grow House: A Family's Escape From Normality

Grow House A Family Escape From Normality Buz Etheredge Leonard Nash Books Reviews
I was looking for an entertaining book and stumbled across Grow House. Since the topic and characters in the book were reminiscent of my era, I thoroughly enjoyed every page of the book. I felt in touch with the characters and found their individual situations believable and humorous. I imagined my own friends being the characters in the book, making Grow House more personal to me and my situation.
I would recommend Grow House to all ages as the topic of legalizing Marijuana is often in the news and top of mind. I hope the author continues to write additional books and could see this becoming a series.
Fun reading. I look forward to getting home after work and continuing on to the next chapter each evening. I don't want to spoil anything for the next reader so please enjoy reading this book. This was a gift I received in the mail from a good friend. What a fun surprise!!!!
I have to say, this book kept me laughing. All the crazy situations that people get themselves into on purpose and no fault of their own made me laugh so much that my husband asked what the laughter was about. Anyway, if you didn't realize the south is crazy, and even if you did, read this book. It's crazy at every corner.
AM ANXIOUSLY AWAITNG THE SEQUEL.
Lively and most entertaining. A great summer read.
Not well written and it's a self published book
