I fully admit that I am a writing book junkie. I have read every book that mentions the word "Novella" or "Outline". This is the only outlining book that actually teaches you how to do a chapter outline. This book is worth 1000X it's price. This is not a story structure book or a book on how someone wrote a novella in a weekend - this is an actual practical manual of how to come up with an actual outline!It doesn't matter if you are using 3 part, 4 part, or Freytag 5 part structure, it uses word count to create chapter count, which dictates what plot point goes into what chapter. Unsilenced uses romance as the example- so if you don't know romance structure - the author does an excellent job of teaching that as well, but her method can be applied to any genre.
The book is written in a conversational style that makes it's content crystal clear. I cannot recommend it enough! I am truly grateful for this book.

An excellent short guide for getting the structure of a romance novella right. I read this guide first before getting started with writing my own novella. I took just three days to outline my novella while I have been struggling to do this over the past five months.
